A design system is more than a collection of components. It should make decisions easier, improve consistency and help design and engineering move faster together. I build systems around real product needs, then evolve them as the product reveals new patterns and gaps.

A request often arrives as a proposed solution. As a UI/UX and Product Designer, my role is to uncover the problem underneath it, challenge assumptions and help the team define a clearer direction. Some of my most valuable work happens before a screen exists, aligning people around what we are solving and why it matters.

AI can accelerate research, exploration and execution, but speed alone does not create a better product. I use AI to extend my thinking while keeping context, empathy and accountability human. The final experience still needs to be useful, understandable and respectful of the person using it.
